---I met Willie and his grandmother by chance when I was hunting for Celestine by the request of a good friend. I noticed him and his grandmother in the group of people that had gathered around me and immediately saw that both of them were extremely thin and frail. At 2 yrs old, Willie probably weighed that of a 6 month old child and if he was to continue this way, he would surely not be with us for much longer.

After leaving Kenya at the end of May, I posted a story about him on my personal blog and got a sponsor right away. Project manager, Maurice Mwanza tells me that Willie is a different child today, and I'll get to see for myself in about 3 weeks!

Follow Willie's progress with us! See the results that a sponsorship can have - it's truly LiFe or dEaTh! My good friend Habah also visited his home only one week ago (mid September 2008) and called me on his cell phone to say that he couldn't believe it was the same child! SUCCESS!
